Japanese Marshal Arts have too many different branches that have been represented in Netherlands and with the opening of Kochōkai Dojo in Haarlem, some of them had been shown to the potential attendance’s. The owner of Kochōkai Dojo, Arjan F. Tervoort hosted the event.

Thelast stage of the Network Democracy – Open Agenda was during the International Day of Democracy. Students, officials, politicians, activists, NGO’s got together and De Hofplaats turned in to Democratieplein for just one day.
Speaker from Egypt, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Netherlands and Poland attended and shared their experiences with the audiences. The International Day of Democracy is organized in cooperation with: European Partnership for Democracy, Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy and Rule of Lawand Democracy House.

The ModelMinds is a very young company that specialize in co-creation and visual thinking. Their Open Drawing Night had been realized to encourage visual thinking skills and learn from people who use drawing or visual thinking in their everyday work on 26th of August. Twenty participants had done hands-on practice with Oscar Westra Van Holthe, Manuel Simon, and Neomi Raja Boean.

Organized by Chris Sigloff, Kwela Hermanns and Corline van Es; Social Safari’11 had 27 innovators from 12 different countries and extremely diverse backgrounds participated. Over one week they worked on 5 social challenges provided by ABC Education, Stedelijk Museum, Doen Foundation, City of Amsterdam and Network Democracy and 22nd of July was the final presentation day for Safari’s Tigers at Hannekes Boom.

Social Safari is taking place in Amsterdam from 17 to 22 July and focus on some of the toughest social challenges of Amsterdam like finding problems in the nightlife. The participants had done their interventions on 20th of July at Rembrantplein to tried out their prototypes and started a conversation with the square.

Social Safari is one week workshop for multidisciplinary international social innovators and during this event 30 participants of Knowledgeland Social Safari’11 work together on complex issues like courtesy, democratic renewal, education, arts and re-integration in society of challenged groups.
On the 19th the participants worked on prototyping their ideas and presented to the panel members and had some feedback for their final presentation.

Selected Indonesian Restaurants (SIR) organized a Sate&Rose Party to share their newest or best sates with the accompany of rose wines to their guests. Twelve Indonesian restaurants participate to the event and compete to be the best of a wonderful sunday party in Zeist.
